Kavoos sits on the throne of Mazandaran. Rostam keeps his word: Oolaad becomes king. Kavoos returns to Pars.

کیکاووس روی تخت مازندران نشست و به رستم گفت: «این کارها را تو کردی و این پیروزی برای توست.»
Keykâvus roo-ye takht-e Mâzandarân neshast va be Rostam goft: «Een kâr-hâ râ to kardee va een peerooze barâ-ye tost.»
Kay Kāvus took his seat on the throne of Mazandaran and said to Rostam: "You did all this, and this victory is yours."
رستم جواب داد: «هر مردی بهدرد کاری میخورد. من همهی اینها را از اولاد یاد گرفتم.»
Rostam javâb dâd: «Har mardee be-dard-e kâree meekhorad. Man hame-ye eenhâ râ az Oolâd yâd gereftam.»
Rostam answered: "Every man is good for some task. All of this I learned from Oolaad."
«من به او قول داده بودم که اگر کمکم کند، او را شاه مازندران کنم.»
«Man be oo ghol dâde boodam ke agar komakam konad, oo râ shâh-e Mâzandarân konam.»
"I had given him my word: if he helped me, I would make him king of Mazandaran."
کیکاووس هم بیچونوچرا، اولاد را شاه مازندران کرد.
Keykâvus ham bee-choon-o-cherâ, Oolâd râ shâh-e Mâzandarân kard.
Kay Kāvus, without a word of argument, made Oolaad king of Mazandaran.
سپس کیکاووس به سوی فارس بازگشت.
Sepas Keykâvus be soo-ye Fârs bâzgasht.
Then Kay Kāvus set out for Pars.
