Finally Rostam managed to strike the demon to the ground.

پس خنجرش را درآورد و دل دیو را پاره کرد.
Pas khanjarash râ darâvord va del-e deev râ pâre kard.
Then he drew his dagger and tore open the demon's heart.

سپس جگر دیو سپید را بیرون آورد تا با خودش ببرد.
Sepas jegar-e Deev-e Sepeed râ beeroon âvord tâ bâ khodash bebarad.
Then he took out the liver of Deeve Sepeed to carry with him.

بعد پیش اولاد رفت و آزادش کرد.
Ba'd peesh-e Oolâd raft va âzâdash kard.
Then he went to Oolaad and set him free.

اولاد گفت: «تو باید سر قولت بمانی و مرا شاه مازندران بکنی.»
Oolâd goft: «To bâyad sar-e gholat bemânee va marâ shâh-e Mâzandarân bokonee.»
Oolaad said: "You must keep your promise and make me king of Mazandaran."

رستم گفت: «من اگر سرم برود، قولم نمیمیرد. ولی پیش از آن باید کاری کنم؛ باید شاه مازندران را بکشم.»
Rostam goft: «Man agar saram beravad, gholam nemeemirad. Valee peesh az ân bâyad kâree konam; bâyad shâh-e Mâzandarân râ bokosham.»
Rostam said: "Even if my head goes, my word will not die. But first I must do something — I must kill the Shah of Mazandaran."

سپس نزد کیکاووس بازگشت و خون جگر را در چشمهای کیکاووس و سپاهیان ریخت تا دوباره بینا شوند.
Sepas nazd-e Keykâvus bâzgasht va khoon-e jegar râ dar cheshm-hâ-ye Keykâvus va sepâhiân reekht tâ dobâre beenâ shavand.
Then he returned to Kay Kāvus and poured the liver's blood into Kavoos's and his soldiers' eyes, so they could see again.
